You run client social accounts: the calendar, the captions, the posting, the replies, and the monthly report that says what happened and why.
We keep this role open year-round. Social management is ongoing work, so when a client engagement includes it we need someone who can hold an account for months, not a one-week sprint. When an engagement opens up, we reach out with the brand, the platforms, the monthly scope, and the pay.
What the work looks like:
- Content calendars planned around what the client actually has going on
- Writing captions in the brand voice and scheduling across platforms
- Community management: replies, DMs, and knowing what to upscale
- Monthly reporting in plain language, including what didn't work Contract, usually ongoing monthly scopes rather than one-off projects. Typical pay is $30 to $45 an hour.
- You've run brand accounts, not only your own
- Strong writing; captions are copywriting
- Comfortable with scheduling and reporting tools
- Organized enough to hold more than one account at once
