A leading and highly respected healthcare organization is seeking a Senior Director of Marketing Strategy to lead strategic marketing initiatives across a complex, multi-location enterprise. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing strategies, aligning stakeholders, driving business growth, and leading a multidisciplinary marketing team.

The ideal candidate is a strategic marketing leader who thrives in complex organizations, excels at stakeholder management, and can translate business objectives into actionable marketing plans. Experience with in large, matrixed organizations is highly preferred, with particular interest in candidates coming from industries such as financial services, professional services, telecommunications, retail, or other large enterprise environments.

• Lead the development and execution of enterprise-level marketing strategies aligned to organizational growth goals.
• Partner closely with executive leadership, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure strategic alignment and successful execution.
• Drive strategic planning, project prioritization, resource allocation, and portfolio management across multiple initiatives.
• Lead and mentor a growing team of marketing professionals while fostering collaboration and accountability.
• Utilize data, analytics, market insights, and performance metrics to optimize marketing effectiveness and business outcomes.
• Develop strong relationships with executive stakeholders and serve as a trusted strategic advisor.
• Oversee process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, improve quality, and reduce costs.
• Manage external agency and vendor relationships while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Lead change management initiatives and build consensus across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Support long-term strategic planning while ensuring flawless execution of current-year initiatives.
• Represent the marketing organization in meetings, events, leadership forums, and stakeholder engagements throughout the region.

During the first several months, this leader will:

• Learn the organization's structure, stakeholders, agency partners, and internal processes.
• Assume ownership of marketing initiatives already planned for the current year and drive successful execution.
• Partner closely with physicians, executive leadership teams, facility leaders, and business stakeholders throughout the organization.
• Begin shaping strategic priorities and marketing plans for the following fiscal year.
• Lead networking, relationship-building, event planning, executive meetings, and stakeholder engagement activities across multiple locations.

• Directly manage a team of marketing professionals, with team growth expected over time.
• Develop talent, build high-performing teams, and establish clear goals and expectations.
• Lead through influence in a complex, highly visible environment.
• Drive collaboration across marketing, communications, operations, and executive leadership teams.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8-12+ years of progressive marketing experience.
• 7+ years of people leadership and team management experience.
• Proven success developing and executing enterprise marketing strategies.
• Exceptional presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities.

• Experience with in large, complex organizations with multiple business units and stakeholder groups.
• Background in financial services, banking, insurance, professional services, retail, telecommunications, or similarly complex corporate environments.
• Experience managing agency relationships and significant marketing investments.

This position requires regular onsite presence throughout the Greater New York City area, including hospitals, outpatient locations, regional offices, leadership meetings, and community events. Candidates must be comfortable traveling between locations and engaging directly with physicians, executives, and key stakeholders.

Important: This is not a fully remote position. Successful candidates must be committed to a consistent onsite presence and relationship-building across multiple locations.
