Content Creator​/Video Editor

Flash Marketing | Austin, TX | Full-time | Hybrid, but mostly remote

Flash Marketing is a small social media marketing agency based in Austin, Texas. We make short-form video, run social accounts, and manage paid ads for local service-based businesses.

This is both an editor and content strategy role. You will be able to come up with creative social media concepts, execute them, and edit them.

• Edit 20 short-form videos per week across 5 to 7 client accounts
• Plot those videos strategically onto each client's social media calendar, a week in advance
• Attend 1-2 client shoots per week in the Austin and surrounding areas
• Work with the team to develop content ideas and concepts for your accounts

You won’t be responsible for posting, scheduling, or pulling analytics. Other team members handle those tasks.

• Strong video editor. You can demonstrate a high level of editing capability. A portfolio is required.
• Deep familiarity with short-form social (Reels, Tik Tok, Shorts)
• Self-starter. Small team, no one is going to hover over your shoulder.
• Responsible and reliable. You hit your deadlines.
• Independent but collaborative. You can manage 5 to 7 accounts on your own and still show up to creative meetings with ideas.
• Good communicator. Clear and direct.
• Comfortable on a video shoot set and around clients.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Austin. Shoots are in person.
• MUST BE BILINGUAL (English & Spanish)

• Starting salary: $55,000 per year, with room to grow as you take on more accounts and ownership

• A mostly remote position with a ton of flexibility and autonomy. You will not have set hours (outside of meetings and shoots) and you are free to work whenever and however you see fit, as long as the work gets done and deadlines are hit.
