We work with some of the world’s most renowned music festivals, musicians & brands to architect and execute marketing campaigns, experiential strategies, content direction and partnerships.
Role DescriptionVersus Creative is seeking a paid Social Media Marketing Intern for the Fall semester to support music marketing and social media projects, including festival and artist campaigns. As an intern, you will have the chance to work closely with our team, learn the ins and outs of social media marketing in the music industry, and contribute to music-related projects. This internship is designed for candidates who are dedicated, organized, and have a strong attention to detail.

This is a paid internship position with a rate of $17/hr based in Echo Park with the option for college credit and a flexible hybrid or remote work schedule. The ideal candidate will work 20-25 hours a week from September 2026 to the mid-December 2026. The duration of the internship and the number of weekly hours can be discussed and adjusted to accommodate the intern's availability and academic requirements.
- Support the team in data collection, asset organization, playlist building, and trend research.
- Conduct research on creators, influencers and fandoms for client-specific projects.
- Contribute to the development and ideation od marketing and social media concepts.
- Collaborate closely with Account Managers and Directors to learn creative strategies, content curation and client engagement techniques for social media.
- Assist with scheduling social media posts.
- Complete one semester-long project that showcases your contributions and skills.
- Hone in on copywriting skills.
Must be a current student.
- Ideally pursuing a degree in music business, creative entertainment industries, social media management, marketing, or a similar major.
- Basic understanding and experience using social and new media platforms.
- Self‑starter, has a strong sense of initiative and the ability to manage responsibilities as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capability of balancing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines.
- Detail‑oriented, with an eye for quality and a commitment to generating error‑free work.
- Proficient with Apple products, Excel/Sheets, Powerpoint/Slides.
- Passionate about music and for the music industry.
