Principal, Enterprise Influencer Marketing Responsibilities
The Cigna Group is building a modern social media and influencer marketing capability to strengthen trust, expand reach, and connect more authentically with patients, clients, and communities. Reporting to the Head of Social Media and Influencer Marketing, the Principal of Influencer Marketing will establish influencer marketing as an enterprise capability across The Cigna Group and its portfolio of brands. This role will define the strategy, operating model, governance, measurement, and partnership approach for a scalable influencer function in a trusted, regulated healthcare environment.
Success requires strategic judgment, cultural fluency, relationship leadership, operational rigor, and a willingness to build the capability from the ground up.
Set the enterprise vision, strategy, and roadmap for influencer marketing across The Cigna Group, Cigna Healthcare, Evernorth, and related brands. Build a scalable Center of Excellence with clear governance, standards, workflows, risk controls, and best practices. Develop a high-quality ecosystem of creators, advocates, ambassadors, thought leaders, agencies, and strategic partners to drive brand content and content and storytelling from creator accounts.
Translate business, brand, and reputation goals into authentic, platform-native creator programs with measurable impact. Partner across brand, communications, social, marketing, paid media, legal, compliance, privacy, and business teams to recommend influencer marketing best practices into priority initiatives. Establish measurement, executive reporting, and performance standards that connect influencer activity to audience, reputation, and business outcomes. Guide agency, platform, vendor, budget, and investment decisions needed to scale the capability responsibly.
Serve as the enterprise expert on creator culture, influencer trends, emerging platforms, brand safety, disclosure, and reputation risk.
- 10+ years of experience in influencer marketing, creator partnerships, and social media, with demonstrated success building or scaling programs for major brands or agencies.
- Deep understanding of creator ecosystems, social platforms, content strategy, partnership models, and paid amplification.
- Proven ability to develop strategy, governance, operating models, measurement frameworks, and executive-ready recommendations in complex organizations.
- Strong track record managing agencies, partners, platforms, budgets, performance expectations, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication, influence, and storytelling skills, including experience advising senior leaders and aligning teams around performance.
- Demonstrated people leadership, with a track record of building highly engaged, high-performing teams.
- Experience in regulated industries preferred.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 131, USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location. This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus and long term incentive plan.
