The Technical Marketing Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in South Plainfield, NJ, with the flexibility to work from home part of the time. This role is responsible for translating complex cosmetic raw material technologies into clear, compelling marketing content and tools for customers, sales teams, and distributors. Day-to-day activities include developing technical marketing collateral (presentations, brochures, data sheets), supporting product launches, and positioning products based on performance data and market needs.

The Technical Marketing Manager collaborates closely with Sales, Product Management, and R&D to identify customer requirements, highlight differentiating product features, and drive growth in key market segments. The role also involves managing technical projects related to promotions, trade show support, training materials, and digital content.

• Strong Technical Marketing skills, including creating technical collateral, product positioning, and translating scientific data into customer-focused messaging.
• Experience working with Sales teams to support customer interactions, prepare presentations, and contribute to business development activities.
• Background in Product Management, including product lifecycle support, competitive analysis, and coordination of product launches.
• Collaboration with Research and Development (R&D) to understand formulations, performance data, and to develop application-focused marketing materials.
• Project Management skills to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple technical marketing initiatives and deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
• Experience in the cosmetic, personal care, or specialty chemicals industry preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to present technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Proficiency with standard office and presentation software; familiarity with CRM or marketing automation tools is beneficial.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, collaborate cross-functionally, and interact with international teams and customers.
