Marketing Manager

Thank you for your interest in the Marketing Manager role at The Mountain Top Lodge. This is a full-time, primarily-remote position responsible for the digital presence of two brands:
The MTL (our boutique hotel in Dahlonega, GA) and a hospitality personal brand led by our founder, Heather.

You'll be Heather's marketing partner — owning the day-to-day execution of our digital marketing across social media, email, paid advertising, Pinterest, You Tube, and marketing automation. You'll create content and campaigns designed not just to build beautiful brands, but to grow audiences, drive engagement, and ultimately generate bookings and revenue.

We're looking for someone who sees what's needed and moves — without waiting to be told.

Four things to know before you apply:

• Full-time, salaried. $62,000 base + up to $6,000 annual performance bonus (paid quarterly, tied to defined KPIs around audience and email-list growth, qualified traffic and engagement, attributed bookings and conversions, campaign performance, and brand/content quality.
• Mostly remote, with on-property attendance required for key events — primarily weekend evenings (Wit & Wisdom Friday and Saturday dinners, private events, seasonal moments). Expect 4–8 weekend evenings per month on-property to capture live content.
• This is a hands-on, collaborative role. You'll propose strategy and content;
  Heather approves both. The right candidate sees that as a feature, not a friction.
• This application is detailed by design. We require Instagram handle, Linked In URL, 2–3 portfolio examples with metrics, and a video. Finalists are invited to a paid trial project ($300–$500 stipend, 3–5 days) before any offer.
