General Function:
The Hy-Vee Corporate Social Media team is seeking a dynamic social media intern that is detail-oriented and ambitious to help execute organic social media efforts, across multiple channels:
Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tik Tok, You Tube and Pinterest. Ideal candidates are fast learners, independent problem solvers and possess the ability to quickly pivot while representing the Hy-Vee brand.

- Track daily posting execution and accuracy
- Assist with publishing social media content across multiple platforms, natively and through publishing software
- Help coordinate project workflow to ensure social content execution deadlines are met
- Assist with cleaning up data in Sprinklr and help with reporting and analytics
- Assist with creating links and UTM’s
- Identify and curate compelling user-generated content and track approvals
- Participate in the ideation and brainstorming of creative
- Advise and assist in development and education of best practices for social media at corporate and local levels.
- Enforce brand standards and post accuracy
- Reports to work when scheduled and works expected number of hours.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Helps support social media campaigns and day-to-day activities
- Assist with various reports as assigned.
- Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required.
- Participate in scheduled retail immersion visits
2-3 years of undergraduate education majoring in digital or social media, journalism, marketing, or related field. Experience using social media platforms required. Understanding of Paid Advertising Platforms is a plus. Experience working in Sprinklr, or other social media management systems is helpful.
Physical Requirements:Visual requirements include: ability to see detail at near and far range with or without correction and at normal depth perceptions. Must be physically able to perform light work: occasionally lifting or carrying objects and occasionally standing or walking. Must be able to perform the following physical activities: stooping, kneeling, reaching, handling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
Working Conditions:The duties of this position are performed in a general office setting and also in a work-from-home environment.
Contacts:Has daily contact with the social media marketing team, designers, writers, and other marketing and communications teams as well as the occasional contact with store and office personnel, suppliers/vendors, external agencies, and the general public.
Confidentiality:Has access to confidential information including knowledge of advertising rates, pricing information, and store sales and marketing events.
Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre employment drug screen.
