PurposePerkin Elmer is seeking a Strategic Segment Manager to own the full go-to-market strategy for Petrochemicals, Mining & Metals. This is a market-facing, intelligence-led role that sits at the intersection of product strategy and commercial execution. The Strategic Segment Manager is the organisation's foremost expert on their assigned market: the customer workflows, competitive dynamics, regulatory environment, and purchasing patterns that determine how Perkin Elmer wins or loses in that segment.

- Update and maintain the MRD on a structured annual cadence, with interim updates when significant market events (competitive launches, regulatory changes, customer feedback patterns) require immediate revision
- Present MRD findings and recommendations to the VP Product Line teams, VP Marketing, and Sr. Director — defending investment priorities with customer evidence and commercial data, not assumption
- Ensure MRD inputs are formally adopted into at least one VP Product Line roadmap planning cycle per year, tracking implementation of MRD-driven product decisions
- Go-to-Market Strategy & Commercial Enablement Develop the segment go-to-market strategy: target customer profiles, channel priorities, campaign themes, value proposition hierarchy, and commercial…
