Role Description The Head of Performance Marketing is a full-time, hybrid role based in the San Francisco Bay Area, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role leads the strategy, planning, and execution of performance marketing campaigns across key channels, with a focus on driving measurable growth for Thrad and its partners. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining acquisition and growth targets, building and optimizing paid media funnels, overseeing campaign testing and experimentation, and managing web analytics to understand user behavior and conversion performance.
The Head of Performance Marketing will collaborate closely with product, sales, and data teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives and refine positioning in the AI advertising space. This role also involves building and mentoring a high-performing marketing team, setting operational frameworks, and reporting on performance metrics to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Spent $ 10 million USD of ad spend per year.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets, develop insights, and translate them into actionable marketing strategies.
- Deep expertise in performance marketing, including campaign design, paid media optimization, and ROI-driven growth initiatives.
- Experience in performance management, including setting KPIs, monitoring results, and continuously improving campaign and team effectiveness.
- Proven team leadership capabilities, with experience building, mentoring, and managing marketing teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar) to track user journeys, conversion funnels, and attribution.
- Background in digital advertising or adtech, ideally with exposure to AI, LLM apps, or emerging media channels.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across product, sales, and executive teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or a related field; advanced degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
- Comfort operating in an early-stage or high-growth environment, with a hands-on approach to experimentation and problem solving.
