Job DescriptionThe Thought Leader Liaison (TLL), Multiple Myeloma is a field-based role responsible for executing an external expert engagement strategy that advances brand and franchise objectives. The TLL will engage, build, and maintain strategic external-expert relationships in the assigned geography and provide insights that shape brand strategy and tactics. This role partners with commercial teams, agencies, legal, compliance, medical, and co-marketing partners to drive business objectives.
The TLL must lead without authority and contribute to building a compliant, integrated, and collaborative team culture.
External expert relationship ownership
Own and cultivate relationships with a defined group of Multiple Myeloma thought leaders and oncology stakeholders by understanding their influence, interests, educational roles, and engagement objectives.
Engagement planning and mappingDevelop and maintain expert mapping, segmentation, interaction history, and engagement plans that translate national priorities into aligned stakeholder objectives and engagement activities.
Insight generationCapture and synthesize external expert perspectives into actionable insights that inform internal partners of treatment landscape trends, educational needs, competitive dynamics, opportunities, risks, and shifts in sentiment for launch readiness.
Congress and advisory executionPlan and execute regional congress, advisory, consultant, educational, sponsorship, and follow-up activities in alignment with brand strategy, stakeholder priorities, budget, and governance requirements.
Education strategy executionPartner with brand team to execute educational strategy by supporting speaker readiness, maintaining relationships with speakers and educational experts, identifying educational gaps, and connecting internal resources to external stakeholder opportunities.
Cross-functional collaborationCollaborate with Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Analytics, field, and home-office partners to align customer-facing teams on external expert engagement objectives, follow-up, and brand or franchise initiatives.
Compliance and operational disciplineMaintain compliant execution by adhering to SOPs and legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements while managing assigned activities within approved budgets, vendor processes, and governance standards.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- A minimum of 2 years’ recent experience engaging with hematology thought leaders with demonstrated experience in academic and community settings. Multiple Myeloma experience required.
