Performance Marketing Manager

Rustic & Main | Full-time | On-site in Huntersville / Charlotte, NC, with some remote work available | Reports to Founder

You own paid acquisition and the performance of the site that converts it. Google Ads (including Performance Max and Shopping), Meta Ads (including Advantage+), and Pinterest Ads are yours end to end — strategy, structure, creative brief, budget, testing, and ROAS. You also own SEO and conversion-focused website optimization so paid traffic is not wasted on a weak page.

This is not an agency seat and not a junior “learn with us” role. You will be the in‑house owner of paid media for a story-driven, handcrafted jewelry brand on Shopify. One brand. Real budget. Full accountability.

• Google Ads:
  Search, Shopping, Performance Max — structure, bidding, feed quality, and scaling
• Meta Ads:
  Advantage+, catalog, creative testing cadence, audience strategy, and spend allocation
• Pinterest Ads: campaign strategy, creative fit, and profitable scale
• Budget ownership, pacing, and weekly / monthly ROAS and contribution reporting
• SEO: technical hygiene, on‑page, content priorities, and organic growth that compounds paid
• Website optimization: landing pages, PDP conversion, tracking, and tests that lift conversion rate
• Creative briefs and test plans for ads and landing pages; work with internal / freelance creative
• Clean measurement: GA4, Shopify, platform data, and honest attribution — not vanity dashboards

• 3+ years hands‑on paid media, with real ownership of accounts — not assisting them
• Proven results on Google, Meta, and ideally Pinterest for DTC / e‑commerce, preferably high‑AOV
• You have run meaningful monthly spend and can talk specifically about what you did to the numbers
• You can do competent SEO and CRO without a specialist sitting next to you
• You want W‑2 ownership of one brand, not a book of clients or a freelance stack
• You write and speak clearly. You ship. You do not hide behind jargon

• A training seat, coordinator role, or “digital marketing generalist” who dabbles in ads
• An agency account‑manager role dressed up as in‑house
• A freelance / contractor / 1099 arrangement, or a fully remote role
• A brand / social / content job with paid ads on the side

• Jewelry, luxury, bridal, or other high‑consideration DTC categories
• Klaviyo / email and SMS: you can keep campaigns and flows moving. This is not a full lifecycle‑email seat. Email may be an interim duty until it is staffed separately
• Experience briefing and iterating performance creative at a weekly cadence
• Triple Whale, Northbeam, or similar

We will ask for specific account ownership, spend levels, and results — not a portfolio of logos. Expect a working conversation on PMax, Advantage+, feed quality, and how you decide where the next dollar goes. If you cannot talk about your own numbers, this is not the role.

Compensation: $95,000–$130,000 base, depending on experience, plus performance bonuses tied to hitting agreed metrics such as ROAS and MER (marketing efficiency ratio).
