We are currently seeking a Manager, Client Leadership. This individual will be responsible for assisting in the annual planning process and the management of key projects for assigned brands, as well as ensuring program synergy with key clients.
Commerce Marketing (retail media) experience is preferred. Candidates must reside within a commutable distance from the Mars United Commerce location in New York for a hybrid work schedule.

• Work with the internal cross-functional team (Media Team, Strategic Planning, Analytics and Creative) to develop optimal and actionable strategies, concepts and tactics
• Manage the implementation hand to keys in platforms:
  Amazon, Instacart, Walmart Connect, Pacvue and Skai
• Build strong working relationships with key retailers
• Manage execution of approved programs, leading junior team members who are in platform
• Manage and grow relationships with external client vendors, retail media networks, and partner agencies to execute projects as assigned
• Develop and manage project timelines and budgets
• Manage communication of project status and budget to client teams
• Work hand-in-hand with internal cross-functional teams on planning and implementation of retail marketing extensions of brand and category programs
• Manage client approval process as part of overall project management
• Measurement experience in the retail media space
• Some travel required

• Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, business, or related field
• 5-7 years’ experience in retail marketing or experience with assigned retailer
• Business smarts/potential to think strategically
• Excellent client relationship management and business development skills, ideally within CPG category
• Passion and excitement for agency life
• Commerce marketing & efficient project management experience
• Strong decision-making skills based on data and industry knowledge
• Passion about business development– always thinking of ways to improve/grow assigned client/business
• Strong listening skills and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Entrepreneurial spirit – Desire to dig in and do what’s needed to get the job done right
