Field Marketing & Catering Sales Specialist - North Bay Region

As a Field Marketing Specialist (FMS) for Mountain Mike's Pizza, you will serve as a local marketing brand ambassador, tasked with elevating brand presence and driving local B2B/B2C sales at the restaurant level. You will act as both a coach and a connector, building local business relationships, supporting franchisee engagement, and executing high-impact grassroots marketing.

• Target ideal companies (B2B) and identify Key Accounts with meaningful employee counts (B2C) and reach them with locally personalized, empathic phone & canvass outreach to generate leads
• Develop local B2B relationships to grow large-order and catering sales
• Create localized demand generation campaigns focused on driving engagement and awareness of Mountain Mike's Pizza
• Partner with franchisees to build and activate sales through relationship building
• Build sales momentum overnight and overtime
• Execute Local Restaurant Marketing (LRM):
  Support franchisees in executing grassroots campaigns using approved brand toolkits and local media.
• Event Activation:
  Coordinate school nights, fundraisers, sports tie-ins, and other events that drive traffic.
• Training:
  Provide coaching on canvassing, campaign planning, and local relationship-building.
• Reporting:
  Track all marketing activities, outcomes, and vendor/community contact information using the required LRM Tracker.
• You will typically support 20-30 franchise locations, balancing in-person visits, administrative planning, and event execution.

Required:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in field marketing, local sales or brand activation, or franchise marketing support
• Demonstrated success in B2B marketing, or grassroots campaign execution
• Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
• Self-directed and able to work independently across multiple markets
• Ability and willingness to travel by car throughout North Bay region (from San Rafael to Eureka) 3-4 days per week.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM/reporting tools

Preferred:

• Background in QSR, restaurant, or franchise systems
• Familiarity with the North Bay market landscape from San Rafel to Eureka

Full-time, exempt position. Employment is at-will in accordance with California Labor Code §2922.

• Workload:
  This is a full-time exempt position. The workload averages approximately 55 hours per week, including evenings and weekends, based on field needs and event schedules.
• Work Location:
  
  North Bay Region from San Rafael to Eureka (Remote/Home-Based + Local Field Travel). Employee must reside in the market and be able to travel (restaurant visits, event sites, canvassing) daily, as well as conduct remote/home-based administrative work.
• Travel:
  Frequent local travel across assigned trade areas throughout the North Bay region (from San Rafael to Eureka)
• Driving Requirements:
  Must have reliable transportation and be able to transport signage and event materials.
• Mileage & Expense Reimbursement:
  All business-related mileage and approved expenses (e.g., phone, internet, printing) are reimbursed per California Labor Code §2802 and company policy.
• Driving Compliance:
  Time spent in the field is scheduled and monitored. DOT/FMCSA rules apply where required for business vehicle use.
• Base Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 annually (commensurate with experience and geographic location)
