The Social Media Manager is a full-time hybrid role based in New Bern, NC, with a blend of in-office collaboration and work-from-home flexibility. This role manages the team’s social media presence across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and other relevant channels, planning and publishing engaging content that aligns with brand and marketing goals. Day-to-day activities include developing content calendars, writing and scheduling posts, responding to comments and messages, and optimizing campaigns to increase reach, engagement, and lead generation.

The Social Media Manager will collaborate with agents and leadership to promote listings, local market updates, community events, and team achievements. The role also involves monitoring social media analytics, reporting performance, and suggesting improvements to support overall marketing and business objectives.

• Candidates should possess strong Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills to build brand awareness, drive engagement, and support lead generation.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication and Writing skills to create clear, compelling, and on-brand messaging for diverse audiences.
• Candidates should possess Content Strategy skills to plan, organize, and align social media content with marketing objectives and campaign timelines.
• Experience with major social platforms, social media scheduling tools, and basic analytics dashboards (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Instagram Insights) is beneficial.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines in a fast-paced environment are beneficial.
• Familiarity with real estate marketing, local New Bern community interests, or related industry experience is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid setting, maintain professionalism with clients and team members, and adapt to evolving digital trends is required.
• An associate or bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
