- Zendesk is seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager to support the continued growth of its Contact Center business
. This role will serve as a key partner to Product, Sales, Marketing, and Enablement teams, helping bring Contact Center solutions to market and clearly communicate Zendesk's value to customers and prospects. - The ideal candidate is a strategic yet hands-on product marketer who excels at translating complex technology into compelling customer value propositions. This individual will be responsible for positioning and messaging, go-to-market execution, product launches, sales enablement, competitive intelligence, and market research. The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- This is a temporary assignment providing coverage for a member of the Product Marketing team.
- Develop and refine differentiated positioning and messaging for Zendesk's Contact Center solutions.
- Partner closely with Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Enablement teams to create and execute go-to-market strategies for new products, features, and strategic initiatives.
- Lead and support product launches from planning through execution, including launch messaging, sales readiness, internal communications, and customer-facing materials.
- Create compelling product marketing content including pitch decks, solution briefs, presentations, web content, sales collateral, customer-facing messaging, and enablement resources.
- Equip Sales and customer-facing teams with messaging, competitive insights, and tools that help drive customer engagement and business growth.
- Conduct market, customer, and competitive research to identify trends, opportunities, customer pain points, and differentiation strategies.
- Partner with Product teams to incorporate customer and market insights into product strategy and roadmap discussions.
- Develop competitive positioning and messaging that effectively communicates Zendesk's value and advantages in the marketplace.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to evaluate go-to-market effectiveness and recommend improvements.
- Support enterprise sales motions by developing messaging and content tailored to customer needs and buyer personas.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4-7 years of experience in Product Marketing, preferably within B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or technology environments.
- Demonstrated experience developing product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
- Experience supporting product launches and cross-functional marketing initiatives.
- Ability to understand technical or complex products and translate features into meaningful customer benefits and business outcomes.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Experience developing customer-facing marketing content and sales enablement materials.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with Product Management, Sales, Marketing, and Enablement teams.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and drive initiatives forward in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-focused mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supporting Contact Center, CCaaS, Customer Experience, Workforce Engagement, Voice Technology, Conversational AI, or related technology solutions.
- Knowledge of Contact Center buyers, customer service operations, and customer experience organizations.
- Experience marketing AI-powered SaaS solutions and bringing AI capabilities to market.
- Experience supporting enterprise sales teams and complex sales cycles.
- Familiarity with competitive analysis, market intelligence, and customer research methodologies.
- Successful candidates will quickly develop a strong understanding of Zendesk's Contact Center business and become a trusted partner to Product and go-to-market teams.
