Planet Art is looking for a Marketing Automation Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for data management, segmentation, designing, building, optimizing and analyzing automated marketing campaigns that drive engagement, nurture leads, and support revenue growth.
This is a remote, work-from-home position.
What You’ll Do- Operate our consumer marketing automation platforms—Braze, Listrak
- Support the migration of triggered email programs between marketing platforms. Adapt HTML/CSS and Liquid script for dynamic content and deeplinks
- Build, test and launch new trigger campaigns and AB test variations using image-centered designs with HTML/CSS and and Liquid script. Implement and verify for final send/automation parameters.
- Report on key metrics for every campaign and test variation, including email engagement and downstream business impact (app engagement & purchases)
- Build email template and manage template library, ensuring email best practices, mobile responsiveness and rendering across all email clients and devices
- Ensure all sends are compliant with US, Canada and EU data privacy laws (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CASL)
- Perform other duties and special projects assigned as needed
- 1+ year of hands-on Braze email marketing experience
- 3+ years of experience in BtoC email marketing, lifecycle marketing, CRM, or marketing automation platform such as Braze, Klaviyo, Iterable, Cordial, Hubspot, SFMC, or other enterprise-grade ESPs
- Strong experience with triggered/lifecycle marketing, including campaigns and multi-step journeys driven by events and event properties
- Experience implementing dynamic content and links using Liquid scripting for conditional content, event-property personalization, dynamic links, and product-level logic/loops
- HTML & CSS for Email:
Expertise in creating responsive, cross-client compatible emails using HTML and inline CSS, with a focus on table-based layouts and mobile-friendly styling - Strong command of segmentation using Boolean logic (nested And/OR statements)
- Ability to debug HTML code, Liquid script, and segmentation logic
- Trigger data management:
Understands required events for triggered campaigns. Can source, implement (with Dev support) and manage event-based triggers, API triggers, and customer attributes. - Experience with creating deeplinks into mobile apps using MMP (mobile attribution) tools such as Appsflyer, Branch or Adjust
- Comfortable building and applying reusable templates and universal content in Braze
- Strong email QA/testing skills, including trigger validation, deep link testing, and responsive rendering checks. Understanding of various email clients and testing tools such as Litmus or Email on Acid for cross-client testing and debugging, ensuring consistent and accurate email rendering across all platforms.
