Do you have a way with words and an eye for the details others sometimes miss? We’re looking for strong writers to join our team as part‑time Engagement Ambassadors, responding to hotel guest reviews on behalf of our hospitality clients.
This role is about more than writing a grammatically correct response. It requires reading carefully, understanding what a guest is really communicating, and responding in a way that feels natural, thoughtful, and appropriate. One review may be a simple compliment, while another may include several concerns or require a more thoughtful approach. The ability to recognize those differences and reflect them in your writing is an important part of the job.
We’ll train you on our responding approach, the hotels you support, and the guidelines, technology, and resources you’ll use. You’ll bring strong writing and comprehension skills, attention to detail, a service‑oriented mindset, and a willingness to learn and adapt.
What You’ll Do- Read and respond to hotel guest reviews with thoughtful, polished, and natural‑sounding responses.
- Understand the context and key points of each review so your response is relevant to what the guest actually shared.
- Learn and consistently apply the responding guidelines, preferences, and information provided for the hotels you support.
- Adapt your writing to different situations while maintaining a professional, conversational style.
- Pay close attention to details and ensure your work is accurate, grammatically correct, and complete.
- Use technology and AI‑assisted tools thoughtfully to support your work while applying your own writing and comprehension skills.
- Work independently, manage your assigned workload, and maintain consistent quality and productivity.
- Use feedback and coaching to continue developing your writing and responding skills.
- Excellent written English, with a strong command of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and sentence structure.
Strong reading comprehension and the ability to pick up on context, nuance, and important details in written feedback.
The ability to write naturally and conversationally without sounding generic, repetitive, or overly scripted.
Natural empathy and a genuine interest in helping others and creating thoughtful, positive interactions.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written instructions accurately and consistently.
The ability to learn different client preferences and apply what you’ve learned to your work.
Comfortable learning and using technology, including AI‑assisted tools, and able to use them thoughtfully while applying your own writing and comprehension skills.
Adaptable and open to change, with the ability to learn new approaches, tools, and guidelines as the needs of our clients and industry evolve.
Strong organization and time‑management skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
A positive approach to coaching and feedback and the ability to incorporate it into future work.
- Candidates will be asked to complete a writing assessment as part of the selection process.
Previous experience in writing, editing, communications, hospitality, guest relations, customer service, or a related field is helpful, but not required.
More important is a genuine service‑oriented mindset. We’re looking for people who naturally care about helping others, bring empathy to their communication, and understand that hospitality is about how you make people feel. Strong writing and comprehension skills, along with the ability to learn and apply our client‑focused approach, are essential.
Schedule & Remote WorkThis is a part‑time, work‑from‑home position with flexibility that can work well for someone looking to add meaningful part‑time work to their schedule.
Because we support hotels every day of the year, weekend and holiday availability may be required based on coverage needs.
You’ll need reliable internet access, a suitable work‑from‑home environment, and the ability to work independently and stay focused during your scheduled hours.
If you enjoy writing, have a natural service mindset, notice the small details that can change the meaning of a message, and are comfortable learning new ways of working as technology and the hospitality industry evolve, we’d like to hear from you.
