Social Media Marketing, Digital Marketing, Content Writer / Copywriter
We are looking for a highly creative social media and content creator who is comfortable on camera and can make great short-form videos. You will also help run our social media, video content and communications across multiple global initiatives in youth, education and policy.
You will be the person who makes things: you will script, shoot, edit and post short-form video, write the captions and copy around it, and help run our social channels day to day. You will also be a face of the brand where it makes sense. If you already make your own content and enjoy it, this is the role.
This is a hands‑on role for someone who makes great content, understands Gen‑Z audiences, learns fast, works hard and cares about how a piece resonates, not only how it looks.
You will work closely with a senior content lead, designers and video editors.
Working:
Fully remote, (work from home), 5.5 days a week
Monday to Friday: 9am to 6pm BST (UK time)
Saturday: 9am to 1pm BST (UK time)
There are opportunities for domestic (pan India) and international travel.
Key Responsibilities Social Media Management- Run our channels day to day across Instagram, Linked In, You Tube and X, and others as we grow
- Manage the content calendar and publish on schedule
- Respond to comments and messages, and build a real community rather than a follower count
- Track analytics weekly, report what worked and what did not, and change what we make because of it
- Stay ahead of trends and platform changes, and know which ones are worth joining
- Plan, script, shoot and edit short-form video: reels, explainers, talking-head pieces, event coverage and behind-the-scenes
- Present to camera with confidence, in a natural and honest voice that audiences trust
- Turn ideas from a line in a calendar into a finished, posted piece
- Create carousels, stories and static posts, working with our designers where needed
- Write captions, scripts, newsletters, website copy and outreach emails with clarity and a real voice
- Draft press releases, partner announcements and official statements
- Support decks, presentations and promotional materials for business development
- Keep the tone consistent across every channel and every piece
- Support campaigns around events, milestones and partnerships
- Work with creators, influencers and community leaders to grow reach and credibility
- Coordinate with internal teams and partners so messaging stays aligned
- Someone who already makes content, at any scale. Your own Instagram, You Tube or Tik Tok, a college channel, or a portfolio of pieces you have fronted.
- Genuinely good on camera: watchable, natural, and comfortable talking without a script
- Comfortable shooting and editing on a phone and in tools such as Cap Cut, Canva, Premiere Pro or similar
- A strong writer with sharp, plain English and an ear for tone
- A real understanding of how social platforms work from the inside: what gets watched, saved and shared
- Comfortable reading performance data and acting on it
- Organised and reliable: you meet deadlines, follow a calendar and turn up prepared to shoots and calls
- Self-motivated, curious and excited by purpose-driven global work
- Experience with youth-focused organisations
- Experience running or growing a page, channel or community
- Basic knowledge of SEO, email marketing or paid social (Meta Business Suite, Linked In Ads)
- Interest in global affairs
- Comfort switching between English and Hindi where the audience needs it
- Experience using AI tools in your content workflow
