Half of this job is knowing exactly where each platform's line is, because the cost of finding out the hard way is not a removed post - it is an account with its whole follower history gone. This is the map you would be working from on day one.

Reddit

Where the measurable subscribers usually come from.

What the account can do

Post in communities that permit adult content. The binding rules are the subreddit's, not just Reddit's.

What ends the account

Ignoring a community's own rules: verification requirements, karma or account-age minimums, posting frequency, self-promotion limits. Moderators act far faster and far more permanently than the platform does.

What that means for the work

Most of the work is per-community: read the rules before posting, get verified where verification is required, and pace posts so an account is not spending credibility faster than it earns it.

Tik Tok

The largest audience of the four, by a wide margin.

What the account can do

Mainstream-safe content, for reach.

What ends the account

Nudity and sexually explicit content are prohibited outright, and that explicitly includes content that directs people to adult websites or apps. Suggestive-but-not-explicit content is not banned but is made ineligible for the For You feed - which, for a growth account, is the same thing.

What that means for the work

Tik Tok is an awareness channel and the link is handled off-platform. Content that performs on Reddit ends the account here, so the two calendars are not versions of each other.

Instagram

Where a persona becomes a person people follow.

What the account can do

Presence and a warm audience.

What ends the account

Nudity is restricted, and explicitly offering or soliciting paid sexual content is prohibited. Enforcement is account-level and appeals are slow.

What that means for the work

Instagram is not a storefront, and treating it as one gets it taken away. The job here is the personality, the consistency, and the funnel out.

X

The most permissive of the four.

What the account can do

Consensually produced adult content, provided it is labelled with a content warning.

What ends the account

Adult content in highly visible places - profile picture, header, live video, banners - and promoting or soliciting sexual services. Unlabelled content gets the account's settings changed for it, or worse.

What that means for the work

X can carry what the others cannot, but the profile itself has to stay clean and the labelling is not optional. It is the channel where carelessness looks cheapest and is not.

Those four lines are the state of play in September 2026, and they will not all still be true a year from now. Tracking that is part of this job rather than an interruption to it - the month a platform changes its enforcement is the month somebody loses a roster of accounts.
