Description

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the development and production of marketing materials and facilitating project workflow of the marketing department. In addition to the initial evaluation and routing of internal marketing requests, this position is responsible for the content writing, development of marketing materials such as flyers, brochures, posters, print ads, and overseeing the production of such items ensuring the integrity of the TGH image and brand.

The role will report directly to the Director of Institutional Marketing with a dotted line to the Manager of Physician Communications and Publications.

• Produce marketing materials such as flyers, brochures, posters, print ads and direct mail.
• Content writing, editing and producing
• Support the development of patient education materials.
• Collaborate with vendors on the production of promotional items and signage.
• Support the Service Line Marketing Manager with physician onboarding/deboarding process.
• Provide marketing support for TGMG physician practice.
• Conduct research, write and edit materials for a broad range of mediums.
• Collaborate with outsourced call center to ensure the quality of interactions. Consists of content management and reporting review.
• Manage the intake of internal projects as they come into the department, gathering needed information and routing to appropriate team members.
• Assist with departmental budget management, including the submission of purchase orders, invoices and communication with accounts payable team.
• Support planning and execution of various internal and external events.
• Work in a highly interactive and cross-functional position, collaborating with team members across various disciplines.
• Ensure all marketing developed is consistent with Tampa General Hospital brand standards and guidelines.

• Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.
• A minimum of 1 year of working experience in Marketing, Advertising, or Journalism.

• Knowledge of marketing strategy and tactics including collateral, social media, email, SEO, etc.
• Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation tools.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload across multiple projects.
• Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills.
• Strong verbal and written communications, with the ability to communicate effectively with all types of audiences.
• Must be detail-oriented, able to remain calm under pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
• Must be a team player, able to collaborate and influence, and build consensus.
• Must conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times.
• Must be hard working and ethical.
• Computer skills are required including working knowledge of Microsoft office, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Proficient in Adobe Reader and Pro
