Ads Account Coordinator

Accepting applications on a rolling basis. All positions are currently remote with a hybrid option only available in the Washington D.C. region with the option to remain permanently remote.

New Blue’s Account Coordinators are in a union position. New Blue is a proud Union shop and a member of the Campaign Workers Guild. This role will actively work with clients and with the internal team devoted to advertising.

Must have a passion for progressive causes and Democratic candidates and want to be a part of an award-winning team.

Candidates will ideally have 2+ years of relevant experience.

Experience working in a multitude of different advertising platforms, managing, monitoring, and optimizing content performance with platforms such as Google, Meta, Instagram, Snapchat, You-Tube and more.

Hands-on experience working directly with (multiple – a plus!) DSPs, particularly with The Trade Desk (also
-a plus!).

Basic design skills as needed

Writing and editing creative copy for political persuasion/acquisition online ads, both still and video.

Placement of online advertising.

Utilization and management of performance analytics tools to continuously monitor and improve content performance.

Managing, monitoring and optimizing the content performance, working closely with the campaigns and Assistant Director and Director to test and adapt content and content channels to achieve goals (as well as Senior Director and above)

Detail-oriented proofreading and other quality assurance checks to ensure copy is free of typos and other errors.

Working and collaborating with Assistant Director and others to help with the graphic design department to ensure that the client product includes graphics of the highest caliber.

Ensuring weekly reports for clients are accurate and promotional of NBI work.

Thoroughly understanding and utilizing Google Suite for document sharing.

Participating in training seminars and/or Webinars as required.

Tracking breaking news and topical issues for use in client messaging.

Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment.

Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.

Other duties as assigned by management.
