Job Description
About Finnoverse Technologies
Finnoverse Technologies Inc. is a Delaware-incorporated technology and media company. Luminrate is our flagship product, a digital analytical publication launching Summer 2026. This role sits inside the Luminrate division. You'll join a small founding-stage team and build its distribution from the ground up.
About Luminrate
Luminrate covers the Middle East through deep archival and primary-source research. We publish long-form articles grounded in historical documents, organized into named editorial series. We're not a news site and we're not a blog. We publish a small number of carefully researched pieces each month, and we treat that restraint as a brand signal.
We're hiring ahead of launch. You'll come in before the platform is live, build the distribution infrastructure from scratch, and be ready to run it the day we open.
The Role
We are looking for an Audience Development Manager to join Luminrate as our first dedicated growth hire. The Audience Development Manager's job is to get this publication in front of the people it was built for: academics, researchers, journalists, policy professionals, and serious readers of the region, and turn them into registered users, subscribers, and paying supporters.
At Luminrate, the editorial is the marketing. There's no ad budget to spend and no brand campaign to run. As Audience Development Manager, you take finished editorial and get it to the audience, then keep that audience coming back. You'll own the distribution stack top to bottom: social media, newsletter and lifecycle email, SEO, sponsorship, and analytics.
The editorial team owns the content: what runs, what goes in the digest, and the voice. The Audience Development Manager owns what happens to it after that. How it's found, how it travels, and how a first-time reader becomes a repeat one. You'll report to the Digital Product Manager and work alongside an editorial and content hybrid who adapts each article into its various formats.
As the team and audience grow, this role is positioned to grow into ownership of the full audience function.
This is a full-time, remote position. We're hiring now to bring you on ahead of the Summer 2026 launch.
Key Responsibilities
Before launch, the Audience Development Manager is building the engine. That means standing up the newsletter and lifecycle email in Send Grid, finishing the SEO keyword strategy with editorial, launching and growing the social presence, building the media kit, opening the first sponsorship conversations, and getting analytics and reporting in place so nothing goes live untracked.
After launch, you run it and sharpen it. You own the social media strategy end to end, distributing every piece across the channel schedule and building the readership platform by platform. You own the newsletter and the subscriber journey from signup to paid. You manage sponsor relationships and deliverables and build cross-promotion with universities, think tanks, policy shops, and aligned publications.
You report to leadership on what's working and what isn't, and act on it.
The hybrid adapts the content into formats. The Audience Development Manager owns the schedule, the channel calls, and community management across X, Linked In, and wherever the audience goes next.
Knowledge
Understanding of how a publication or media brand grows an audience on social media. Not a corporate account posting on a schedule, but a channel built with intent and strategy behind it.
Understanding of newsletter mechanics: welcome sequences, send cadence, list segmentation, and how a subscriber moves from signup to paid or engaged.
Working knowledge of SEO, keyword strategy, on-page principles, and how search fits into a broader distribution plan.
Understanding of how sponsorship works for a media brand: what a media kit needs to do, how outreach is structured, and what it takes to deliver on a sponsor commitment.
Skills
Social media fluency across Linked In, X, and Instagram. You know how each platform's audience and format differ, how to write for each, and how to grow a following on them, not just maintain one.
Able to read a Google Analytics or Chartbeat dashboard and explain, without prompting, what it shows and what you would change. Strong written communication.
The Audience Development Manager will represent Luminrate in sponsor conversations, reader-facing channels, and internal reporting.
Comfortable working independently in a small, remote team with no playbook…
