About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Reddit Content Creator to join our marketing and community engagement team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating authentic, engaging, and informative content tailored specifically for Reddit communities related to automotive, insurance, and personal finance topics. Your primary focus will be to develop content that resonates with Reddit users, fosters trust, and drives organic community growth.

You will craft long-form and short-form posts, respond to community comments in real-time, and experiment with different content formats to maximize reach and engagement. Collaborating closely with our Content, SEO, and Product teams, you will help translate broader company insights into Reddit-first narratives that are both helpful and aligned with our brand voice. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence our brand presence on a platform known for its authenticity and community-driven content, ultimately contributing to Jerry's mission of simplifying asset management for millions of users.

Qualifications

• Active Reddit user with a proven portfolio of posts demonstrating platform expertise
• Minimum of 3+ years of copywriting experience, preferably within fintech, insurtech, automotive, or consumer tech sectors
• Exceptional understanding of Reddit culture, post formatting, and community engagement strategies
• Ability to translate complex or technical topics into clear, engaging, and accessible content
• Strong writing skills with a focus on authenticity, tone, and conversational style
• Experience in SEO and AI language model optimization is a plus
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally with diverse teams
• Resilience to feedback and a continuous improvement mindset
• Location within AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MA, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OR, TN, TX, UT, VA, or Ontario, Canada for full-time employment eligibility

Responsibilities

• Create genuine, helpful, and entertaining Reddit content for relevant subreddits such as r/carinsurancehelp, r/mechanic advice, r/idiotsincars, r/frugal, and Jerry's own communities
• Develop a mastery of Reddit voice to craft long- and short-form posts that feel native, authentic, and upvote-worthy
• Draft real-time, high-context replies to community comments and inquiries, maintaining helpfulness and a grounded tone
• Experiment with various narrative hooks, post structures, and timing strategies to enhance organic reach and community trust
• Optimize content for search engines and AI models to ensure visibility and utility as reference material
• Collaborate with the Content, SEO, and Product teams to adapt company insights into Reddit-specific content without compromising brand integrity
• Monitor community reactions and engagement metrics to refine content strategies continuously
