UK - flexible base location. Some onsite attendance and travel as required from time to time

A high-profile UK organisation is seeking a number of Non-Executive Directors (NEDs) to strengthen its Board through independent oversight, specialist expertise, and constructive support to the leadership team. The organisation operates in a complex, front facing multi-stakeholder environment and is undergoing meaningful strategic and operational development as it moves into its next exciting phase of development.

* Commercial / Media / Partnerships

* Governance / Safeguarding / Regulatory Oversight

What You’ll Do

* Support and challenge the Executive team on strategy, governance and performance

* Provide independent judgement on risk, assurance and resource allocation

* Help maintain effective relationships across diverse stakeholder groups

* Contribute to organisational sustainability, clarity and accountability

Ideal Background

* Previous Board or senior governance experience

* Strong ability to build trust and influence

* Clear judgement and political awareness

* Likely experience from sectors such as membership organisations, NFP/charity, community services, regulated environments, leisure or public service

Details

* Approx. 2-3 days per month

* UK-based, flexible location

 * £25,000 per annum + expenses
