  • Design creative engagement touchpoints to reinforce yearlong value, and support recruitment, onboarding, and retention through follow-up with at-risk members.
  • Plan, promote, and execute events, networking opportunities, and workshops that engage members to strengthen relationships and foster knowledge-sharing.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create outreach materials, ensuring all member engagement activities and opportunities are reflected.
  • Track, analyze, and manage member engagement metrics within member databases (CRM) as well as collect and evaluate member feedback to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Create and distribute reports for FMI leadership outlining progress.
  • Manage member engagement budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve business objectives.

Education, Skills, and Experience you’ll need to be successful:

  • Minimum of three to five years of prior membership engagement or similar work experience.
  • Experience working in a membership department within a trade association (preferred).
  • Strong working knowledge of Asana, Hub Spot, Axios HQ, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office 365 products.
  • Clear understanding and use of database software to process and maintain information.
  • Expert-level written and verbal communication skills with strict attention to detail, including editing and proofreading.
  • Ability to work with various colleagues across the organization as well as external vendors, with an ability to bring an enthusiastic and engaging presence that builds strong relationships with members and their staff at all levels.
  • Ability to apply creativity and innovation when developing ideas that enhance business processes and practices.
  • Must be self-directed with strong organizational, project, and time management skills, with an ability to accomplish multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
