VP of Agency

Since 1972, 4C for Children has been advocating for the youngest members of our community by supporting high-quality early care and education in Southwest Ohio and the Miami Valley. The nonprofit organization works to provide children with a solid foundation for lifelong success by empowering caregivers and educators. At 4C for Children, we envision a community where every child has access to exceptional early education and care, fostering their growth and potential from the very beginning.

As the Vice President of Agency Advancement, you will lead strategic efforts to expand and strengthen agency partnerships, philanthropic initiatives, and advocacy work to advance the mission of 4C for Children. This is a full-time hybrid role based in the Cincinnati Metropolitan Area, allowing a combination of in-office collaboration and remote work flexibility. Key responsibilities include managing donor relations, overseeing fundraising strategies such as annual giving and planned giving, and conducting prospect research to identify new opportunities for growth and collaboration.

• Proven expertise in Planned Giving and Annual Giving to develop and manage effective fundraising campaigns.
• Experience in building and maintaining Alumni Relations and Philanthropy initiatives to foster strong partnerships with stakeholders.
• Strong skills in Prospect Research to identify new donor opportunities and strengthen engagement strategies.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to inspire and collaborate with diverse teams and community partners.
• Knowledge of nonprofit fundraising principles and regulations, with the ability to align strategic goals with the mission of the organization.
• A Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business administration, or a related field is preferred. Advanced degrees or certifications, such as CFRE, are a plus.
• Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to 4C for Children’s mission.
