- Willingness to undergo SCORE’s mentor training and complete onboarding.
- Passion for helping small businesses and entrepreneurs succeed.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and provide objective, non-judgmental guidance.
Lead, inspire, and educate! Take charge of our virtual workshops by coordinating speakers, developing content, and facilitating engaging sessions. If you enjoy teaching and mentoring in a structured setting, this role is perfect for you.
- Experience facilitating workshops, webinars, or training sessions.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to coordinate speakers, develop content, and manage logistics.
- Availability to lead approximately 3 workshops per month.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Be a key driver of our chapter’s growth! Work with our committee to build relationships with community partners, secure sponsor ships, and help fund SCORE Albuquerque’s free mentoring and educational programs. Your efforts directly support local entrepreneurs.
- Experience in fundraising, business development, or community outreach.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to research potential sponsors and engage community partners.
- Comfortable collaborating within a committee structure.
- Understanding of nonprofit operations and funding needs is a plus.
- Motivated to help sustain free services through sponsorship growth.
Keep our volunteers thriving! Help onboard, engage, and support our volunteer mentors. From facilitating training to running monthly chapter meetings, you ensure our volunteer community remains connected, informed, and energized.
- Strong organizational skills to manage volunteer onboarding and engagement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to facilitate monthly chapter meetings and follow-up on training completion.
- Ability to track engagement metrics and suggest improvements.
Put your financial expertise to work for a good cause! Manage deposits, review monthly P&Ls, and track budget performance. If you have at least 5 years of bookkeeping experience and want a meaningful part‑time role, this position lets you directly impact our chapter’s sustainability.
- Minimum 5 years of financial/bookkeeping experience.
- Experience preparing or reviewing financial statements (P&L, balance sheet).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage deposits, track budget vs. actual, and report monthly.
- Integrity, discretion, and understanding of nonprofit accounting practices.
- Availability to work part‑time and attend periodic meetings.
