Established in 2015, One Classroom is a St. Louis-based nonprofit that enables students with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to attend Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of St. Louis. One Classroom connects families, parishes, and schools to opportunities in inclusive Catholic education through outreach, advocacy, and advancement. The organization currently serves more than 110 students in nearly 30 Catholic schools.
Position SummaryThe Grants & Stewardship Manager is a crucial role in ensuring the successful mission advancement and fund development for One Classroom’s efforts to expand inclusive Catholic education in the Archdiocese of St. Louis.
Description ofJob Requirements Institutional Giving
- Take a leading role in One Classroom’s institutional giving efforts
- Manage the identification, solicitation, and reporting of all grants
- Create annual plan for retaining and growing grant support
- Partner with Executive Director to create corporate sponsorship program
- Solicit local and national businesses to sponsor One Classroom programs aligned with their giving interests and missions
- Manage engagement and impact reporting for corporate donors
- Develop a new, innovative stream of revenue through the creation of a monthly donor program
- Create audience personas and profiles for target donors
- Manage regular and unique engagement opportunities for donors
- Work with Executive Director to create annual stewardship plan for current and prospective mid-level and major-level donors
- Conduct prospect research and reports
- Manage calendar and annual giving cycle by maintaining goals and tracking progress
- Support general development functions through maintenance of donor database through Bloomerang
- Additional duties as required
- Must be a practicing Catholic
- Previous experience in development, communications, education, and/or project management
- Exceptional written communication and presentation skills
- Background in communications, nonprofit management, education, and/or related field
- Knowledge of Bloomerang or other donor CRMs, or similar project management tools, Canva, Microsoft Office suite
- Passion for the mission of inclusive Catholic education
- Prior experience working in Catholic education and/or causes for persons with disabilities a plus
The Grants & Stewardship Manager reports to the Executive Director
No direct reports
Must be local to St. Louis metropolitan area
Mostly work from home with high potential to move in-office
Frequent onsite meetings with team members and donors
Occasional domestic travel as required

$50,000 – $60,000, commensurate with experience
Up to 6% employer-matched retirement contribution
