What you will be doing?- Develop relationships with community service providers and provides technical assistance related to nonprofit management. Provides community liaison/facilitation and other expertise to diverse community partners and networks.
- Help aging services organizations build capacity internally to better serve their communities today and in the future.
- Develop and implements activities to improve services for low-income seniors in underserved areas of the 7-county metro area, and other target populations, under a contract with the state of Minnesota, the Elder Care Development Partnership (EDP) contract.
- Provide technical assistance related to grant applications and management.
- Lead the design and implementation of various initiatives to help Trellis meet the organization's goals of improving the lives and well-being of older adults.
- This position will require significant time working in the community with participation at some events outside of regular business hours.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience in design, development, and implementation of program outcomes.
- Experience working with cross-cultural and multi-racial communities
- Experience in establishing and maintaining cooperative, effective relationships that include the provision of technical assistance/consultation in service development and dissemination.
- Reliable transportation
A Bachelor's degree in social services, gerontology, health-related fields, education, nonprofit, public or business administration or related fields strongly preferred. WORKSCHEDULE
This position works,
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with two-three in office days per week and remaining time spent working from home or in the community.
