Role DescriptionThis is a full‑time hybrid role for a Head of Nonprofit Development based in Rio Rancho, NM, with the flexibility to work from home.
The Head of Nonprofit Development will be responsible for overseeing and strategizing all aspects of nonprofit development initiatives, including fundraising campaigns, annual giving programs, and donor stewardship.
Duties include monitoring and evaluating (M&E) development efforts, creating impactful communication materials, building relationships with stakeholders, and managing donor engagement strategies to meet organizational goals.
Qualifications- Strong analytical skills to assess program performance and develop data‑driven strategies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with donors, stakeholders, and team members
- Experience with annual giving programs and donor stewardship practices
- Familiarity with Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) techniques to track and improve fundraising success
- Proven leadership and management experience in nonprofit development or a related field
- Proficiency with donor management software and fundraising tools
- Creativity and adaptability to develop innovative fundraising strategies
