Project Pray, founded in 1988 by P. Douglas Small, is dedicated to teaching and training on prayer and its transformative power. The organization has impacted every U.S. state and almost every continent through its programs, conferences, and partnerships with local churches. Project Pray emphasizes prayer as both a deep connection to God and a mission-driven practice to inspire personal awakening, spiritual renewal, and cultural reformation.

Currently, the organization is developing a digital platform to further educate pastors and individuals about prayer.

Role Description

This is a contract position for a Fund Raising Specialist, based in Charlotte, NC, with a hybrid work structure that allows some work from home. The Fund Raising Specialist will be responsible for creating and implementing fundraising initiatives, along with the resident major donor specialist, and with her, building relationships with potential donors, analyzing funding opportunities, and managing financial reports related to donations.

The individual will collaborate with the leadership team to meet organizational funding goals and ensure alignment with Project Pray's mission. Need to have the ability to assist with a long-term donor relationships out of a pool of 100,000 who need to be activated. Need direction. Mailing, email assistance, etc. A campaign. We are uniquely and specifically CHRISTIAN.

Qualifications
  • Strong Analytical Skills to assess fundraising opportunities and donor trends
  • Knowledge of Investments and Finance for managing fundraising initiatives
  • Experience in Fund Accounting and Accounting to oversee and report on donation allocations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with donors and stakeholders
  • Proficiency in using fundraising tools and software
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
  • Previous experience in non-profit fundraising is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field is preferred
