Role DescriptionThis is a part‑time Assistant Manager role based in Ohio, United States, with a hybrid work arrangement allowing partial remote work. As an Assistant Manager, you will support operational and administrative tasks, oversee program initiatives, manage staff and volunteers, and assist in executing strategies to further the mission of Veterans' Outreach.
Key responsibilities include coordinating fundraising efforts, liaising with external partners, maintaining compliance with organizational policies, ensuring operational efficiency, managing communication within the team, providing support for veteran‑related services, and driving organizational growth.
Locations:
Kentucky, Florida, and Alabama positions available.
- Administrative and organizational skills, including project management and team coordination abilities
- Proficiency in fundraising and donor relationship management
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively lead teams, liaise with partners, and provide excellent service to veterans
- Proven experience in nonprofit operations and a passion for serving veterans
- Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
- Experience with compliance and adherence to nonprofit regulations is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience is preferable.
