Responsibilities
  • Conduct an independent external review of the Regional Action Forum (RAF) focusing on its effectiveness and impact
  • Analyze coordination efforts and identify key challenges and lessons learned from RAF's activities
  • Engage in qualitative research, including stakeholder interviews and background research
  • Evaluate RAF's approach to child marriage prevention and its engagement with affected communities
  • Develop recommendations for the sustainable future of the RAF platform
Qualifications
  • Advanced university degree (Master’s) in public relations, international development studies, social sciences, public policy, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience conducting qualitative research, including stakeholder interviews and analytical reporting
  • Demonstrated technical expertise in gender equality, prevention of harmful practices, and child protection
  • Strong analytical and report-writing skills, with a proven track record of producing high-quality evaluation reports
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an asset
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in engaging with community stakeholders, particularly girls, women, and survivors of child marriage
  • Familiarity with the UN humanitarian system and frameworks related to child protection
  • Knowledge of innovative approaches to social norms change and advocacy in child protection contexts
