This is for an international non-governmental organization (NGO) with 501(c)(3) status, focused on providing a safe space for humanity, compassion, focusing on freedom, and community support through humanitarian assistance.
The organization aims to promote the interests and well-being of people through various charitable activities that will:

This role is for someone who is trustworthy, reliable, honest, caring, loyal and compassionate who will be a great fit and is NOT a negative or toxic personality. This is a remote position! You will occasionally be asked to go to events such as fundraisers and conferences. You must be great at networking and grant writing. A track record of success in the nonprofit sector with grant writing and fundraising is needed.
As mentioned this will be a work from home position that down the road will eventually be hybrid out of necessity for events and conferences; willing to be open with your schedule as your comfort in this role is highly appreciated. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to gradually exit an office environment that may or may not be toxic and truly spread their wings with an organization that not only will be helping Memphis; but others globally as well. The founder’s goal is to always make sure the work environment is safe, diverse, inclusive, supportive, and welcoming like a real family; without all of the toxicity, micromanaging, and micro aggression in the work environment!
Specific Role Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (or 3-7 years of work experience with nonprofit administration, grant writing, or fundraising);
- 3+ years of experience in fundraising, grant writing or grants management;
- Demonstrated analytical and persuasive writing skills experience as well as superior editing skills, including ability to convey complex information in a clear manner to a diverse audience;
- Strong administrative skills and self-motivated with the ability to set priorities and manage multiple tasks under minimal supervision in effective and efficient manner;
- Intermediate to expert skills in Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Experience with donor development/CRM software systems a plus;
- Familiarity and experience working with international, national, governmental and Memphis funders a plus;
- Ability to work under pressure and respond to deadlines without sacrificing quality;
and
- Demonstrated interest in the mission and goals of this international nongovernmental organization.
