Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Director of Donor Development, based in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, with flexibility for some remote work. Daily responsibilities include overseeing and implementing donor development strategies, managing planned and annual giving campaigns, coordinating philanthropy initiatives, creating and tracking budgets, and organizing fundraising events or drives. The Director will also build and maintain relationships with current and prospective donors, serve as a key ambassador for UC Academy, and contribute to strategic planning for fundraising objectives.

Qualifications
  • Experience in Planned Giving, Annual Giving, and managing long-term donor relationships
  • Strong knowledge of Philanthropy principles and best practices
  • Proficiency in Budgeting and financial planning related to fundraising activities
  • Proven ability in Fundraising campaign design and execution
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with a diverse community of donors and stakeholders
  • Experience with donor management software and CRM tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Nonprofit Management, Communications, or a related field
  • Prior experience in a nonprofit or educational setting is a plus
