This is a full-time hybrid role for a Director of Development based in San Antonio, TX, with flexibility for some remote work. The Director of Development will oversee fundraising initiatives, including planned and annual giving, while cultivating relationships with donors and stakeholders. Responsibilities include managing philanthropic efforts, creating and executing comprehensive fundraising strategies, preparing and monitoring budgets, and ensuring financial goals are met to sustain and expand the organization's mission and programs.
Qualifications- Experience in Planned Giving and Annual Giving to develop and execute strategic fundraising initiatives
- A deep understanding of Philanthropy with the ability to build and maintain donor relationships
- Proficiency in Budgeting and financial planning to create and manage fundraising budgets effectively
- Proven track record in Fundraising, including event planning, donor engagement, and securing major gifts
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with team members and stakeholders
- Experience in the nonprofit sector and knowledge of community resources is an asset
- Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
