This year-round, part-time (20 hours a week) position is ideal for someone seeking a flexible work schedule that allows remote work.
The successful candidate will be a professional with experience in fundraising, capital/endowment campaigns, and membership recruitment for nonprofit organizations. Although an NHTOA employee, the person in this unique position also will work to provide financial support for the New Hampshire Timberland Owners Education Foundation (NHTOF), the NHTOA’s educational 501(c)(3); and for New Hampshire Project Learning Tree (NHPLT), which provides the NHTOA’s environmental educational programming.
This position will support these organization’s promotion of working forests, responsible forest management, and a strong forest industry. Specifically, this position will:
- Retain existing membership
- Recruit new members
- Attract financial support from individual, corporate, and foundation donors
- Assist with grant writing
