The Latino Community Foundation of Colorado is 501(c)(3) organization committed to fostering change and creating opportunities within Latino communities across Colorado. We aim to democratize philanthropy through a transformative community engagement approach that meets communities where they are. This involves identifying and building on the existing assets and structures within these communities. LCFC firmly believes that communities are equipped with power to drive local change, and that decision makers should respond and provide the necessary resources to enact change.
By providing access to resources and opportunities, individuals can expand their horizons and contribute to the creation of robust and resilient communities.
The Power Together Pilot Program is a collaborative pilot program between Xcel Energy Colorado (Xcel Energy CO) and the Latino Community Foundation of Colorado (LCFC). Its primary objective is to engage with disproportionately impacted communities where Xcel Energy CO operates and to provide community members and customers access to support, resources, and incentives offered by Xcel Energy CO. This includes education on energy efficiency programs, renewable energy options, bill assistance, and other operational efforts of which the community should be aware.
Importantly, the program is designed to engage with communities to understand their needs and solicit feedback on improvements to Xcel Energy CO’s program and service offerings. Through the program, Xcel Energy CO also aims to report efforts that advance Xcel Energy CO’s energy reduction priorities in the state and address legacy pollution.

In this role, the Community Action Partner will serve as a liaison between the community and Xcel Energy Colorado. As a representative of LCFC, the Community Action Partner will engage with community members, offering support and resources while directing them to the appropriate Xcel Energy CO programs and representatives.
