About the Role

Are you passionate about the mission of public broadcasting and driven to make a meaningful impact in the world of fundraising?

As the Individual Giving Manager at Wisconsin Public Radio, you'll play a key role in shaping and executing strategies to engage high-value donors, nurture relationships, and support the organization's mission of delivering trusted, impactful programming to Wisconsin.

Ongoing / Renewable. This is a full-time, 40-hour-a-week position that works core business hours, Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., with some nights and weekends.

Key Responsibilities
  • Shape and execute strategies to engage high-value donors and nurture relationships.
  • Oversee essential fundraising systems and manage prospect portfolios.
  • Administer key fundraising software and portfolio management systems.
  • Conduct donor research and collaborate with colleagues to drive cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Combination of technical proficiency, strong organizational skills, and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Experience managing databases and analyzing donor data.
Working Hours and Location

This role is hybrid with a minimum of two days per week in person in Madison, WI. Additional flexibility in the future is possible. In-person meetings and events may require additional attendance.

Travel and Remote Work

Occasional travel related to job responsibilities may be required. Remote work requires an approved flexible work arrangement (FWA). A FWA requires successful candidates to possess their own high-speed internet and phone to perform the work on a university-provided computer. Transportation between home and assigned work location is not reimbursable and will be at the employee's expense.

Additional Information

This position has been identified as a position of trust with financial/fiduciary responsibilities. Selected candidates will be required to re-check every four years.
