As a key partner in Moves Management, the administrator creates automated journeys, alerts, and dashboards that cue the CDO and Director of Development on next‑step stewardship by donor tier, and ensures gifts are receipted and acknowledgements are sent immediately after donation. The role also produces Board‑ready reports and visualisations, translating complex data into clear charts and insights for the CDO’s strategic planning and Board presentations.

  • Minimum 3 years of hands‑on Salesforce NPSP administration.
  • Proven experience with Salesforce and online donation platforms such as Fundraise Up.
  • Familiarity with accounting integrations, such as Quick Books, a plus.
  • Track record designing reports/dashboards that drive decision‑making and revenue growth.
  • Familiarity with online fundraising, donor privacy regulations, and PCI compliance.
  • Advanced experience in Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Strong analytic mindset with the ability to translate data into stories.
  • Excellent project management, documentation, and internal‑client skills.
  • Commitment to TSA’s mission of preventing turtle extinctions worldwide.
Responsibilities CRM Administration
  • Serve as primary Salesforce administrator: user setup, security, automation, duplicate management, matching gifts, and integrations.
  • Maintain custom objects and fields aligned with conservation‑program tracking.
  • Work closely with the Finance department to reconcile regularly.
  • Liaise with IT and external developers on larger enhancements.
Data Integrity & Reporting
  • Establish and enforce data‑quality standards; run regular audits.
  • Produce dashboards and trend reports (LYBUNT, pipeline, campaign ROI, donor retention, etc.) to equip the CDO, Executive Team, and Board.
  • Translate raw data into concise insights and visualisations for presentations.
Online Giving & Campaign Tech
  • Build and optimise Fundraise Up campaigns, peer‑to‑peer events, and donation pages; ensure seamless sync with Salesforce.
  • Advise on and test new fundraising technologies (e.g., text‑to‑give, digital wallets, silent auctions, etc.).
Gift Processing & Acknowledgement
  • Oversee daily gift imports, soft crediting, matching‑gift processing, and batch reconciliations with Finance.
  • Generate and mail/email tax receipts and personalised acknowledgements within 48 hours; evaluate automation opportunities.
Donor Stewardship Support
  • Maintain moves‑management workflows and list pulls for appeals, stewardship touchpoints, and legacy marketing.
  • Produce the annual donor list and grant‑report giving tables.
  • Create donor pathways for new donors, recurring gifts, etc.
  • Train Development and Program staff on data best practices.
  • Partner with Finance on reconciliation; with Communications on segmentation and email performance; and with Conservation Programs to link project metrics to donor impact.

About Us

Formed in 2001 and gaining nonprofit status in 2004, Turtle Survival Alliance is a global conservation organisation with a mission to protect and restore wild populations of tortoises and freshwater turtles through science‑based conservation, global leadership, and local stewardship. Our science‑based initiatives are directed by local leaders, inspiring sustainable, community‑based stewardship to prevent extinctions. Where populations cannot yet thrive in the wild, our conservation breeding programmes preserve opportunities for their future survival.

Turtle Survival Alliance operates or supports projects in more than 30 countries around the world, protecting critical habitats and providing on‑ground resources to safeguard the most imperilled turtle and tortoise species. Through these efforts, we make a positive impact on well over 100 species of turtles and tortoises.
