Position: Literacy Project Manager - Aicardi Early Steps Program - Curry College
Location: Blue Hills

Literacy Project Manager - Aicardi Early Steps Program

This role manages the Aicardi Early Steps program, overseeing literacy initiatives and research activities. Duties include coordinating literacy programs, conducting training, supporting research, and securing grant funding.

Essential Functions
  • Assist in coordinating and implementing literacy programs, professional development, and outreach activities.
  • Conduct literacy training and coaching sessions for literacy coaches and staff implementing the program.
  • Support the design and execution of research and evaluation efforts, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Contribute to the development of grant proposals, funding applications, and partnership opportunities.
  • Monitor program outcomes and assist in tracking impact using data-driven methods.
  • Help disseminate findings through reports, presentations, and community engagement.
  • Represent the Aicardi Early Steps program at events, meetings, and conferences as needed.
  • Provide administrative and project management support across research and partnership initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with research standards, data integrity, and confidentiality practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required;
    Master's preferred in education, social sciences, nonprofit management, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with literacy pedagogy and experience leading professional learning for diverse, community-based audiences.
  • 2-4 years of experience in project coordination, research support, partnership development, or related areas.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Familiarity with basic research methods (qualitative and/or quantitative), IRB processes, and data management.
  • Experience supporting grant writing or fundraising efforts is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Flexible hybrid work schedule – Remote work, Milton Campus office hours, or at project Boston area locations. Evening hours may be required. One-year grant‑funded position.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience
