Disaster Response Volunteer: Remote & On-Site

Bryan County - Red Cross Volunteer Opportunities

• Disaster Duty Officer (Remote):
  Coordinate responses to local emergencies.
• Disaster Action Team (In-Person):
  Provide immediate assistance to those affected by disasters.
• Disaster Client Care Recovery Caseworker (Hybrid):
  Conduct follow up and recovery planning services for households affected by disasters.
• Disaster Health Services (Hybrid):
  Use your professional skills as a licensed healthcare provider to deliver hands‑on care and education to clients.
  
  Required:
  
  RN, LPN, LVN, EMT, Paramedic, MD, DO, PA, NP, APRN.
• Disaster Spiritual Care (Hybrid):
  Provide spiritual and emotional support to individuals and staff members affected by disasters.
• Shelter Resident Transition (In-Person):
  Assist shelter residents with transitioning to stable housing or community resources. Help clients access recovery services and ensure a smooth departure from shelters.
• Community Outreach Team Member:
  Build connections and help recruit volunteers by attending community events, where you can promote Red Cross services and volunteer opportunities.
