The Pennyrile Area Development District (PeADD) is a regional public planning and development organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for citizens in the Pennyrile region. Through collaboration with local leaders, community organizations, and other stakeholders, PADD focuses on developing innovative strategies and partnerships to address regional challenges. By fostering solutions for community and economic development, PADD plays a vital role in regional growth and improvement.

The organization serves as a resource for enhancing local initiatives, infrastructure, and services.

Role Description

This is a part-time position for a Workforce Support Specialist. The role is hybrid, based in Hopkinsville, KY, with some remote work flexibility. The Workforce Support Specialist will assist in coordinating and implementing workforce development programs, provide administrative and technical support, and ensure adherence to relevant regulations and policies. Responsibilities include data collection, report preparation, maintaining communication with stakeholders, and supporting employment-related initiatives to benefit the Pennyrile community.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in administrative tasks such as data entry, document management, and report generation
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with various stakeholders
  • Knowledge of workforce development programs and resources, or willingness to learn
  • Technical proficiency with office software tools such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently
  • A commitment to supporting community and workforce development initiatives
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience preferred
