The Community Foundation of Northern Nevada is seeking a relationship-driven, highly organized, and mission-focused professional to join its Donor Relations team. This position may be hired at the Donor Relations Officer or Philanthropic Advisor level, depending on experience, skill set, and ability to steward donor and fundholder relationships with increasing independence. This role supports donor relations through philanthropic advising, fund administration, grantmaking, stewardship, and community engagement for assigned fund holders.
Reporting to the Director of Donor Services, the selected candidate will collaborate with the Donor Relations team, Finance & Operations, and Leadership to provide excellent donor service and help fund holders achieve their charitable goals.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter and relationship-builder with strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, critical thinking, attention to detail, and a solutions-oriented approach. While direct community foundation experience is preferred, CFNN is open to transferable experience in donor relations, nonprofit development, client services, grantmaking, community engagement, financial services, professional services, or another relationship-focused field.
