Responsibilities & Qualifications- Learn about Texas Mutual’s community partnerships.
- Participate in the grant‑making process.
- Help with tasks related to event sponsorship commitments.
- Use online platforms that track volunteering and charitable giving.
- Select and complete research projects on Community Affairs topics.
- Gain an understanding of the importance of corporate citizenship.
- Complete tasks and projects as assigned by the department.
- Participate in division meetings and trainings.
- Attend multiple in-person events, as a representative of Texas Mutual.
- Collaborate with partners to further our philanthropic mission.
The ideal candidate must:
- Be currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, or experience.
- Have an interest in at least one of the following: non‑profit relations, charitable giving, corporate communications, corporate citizenship practice, grant‑making, sponsorship management, public relations, cause marketing or community partnerships.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
- Duration:
Fall and spring internship to begin September 8, 2026 (end date is flexible). - Location:
Austin, TX; in‑person; potential for limited remote work later in the internship. - Hours:
20 hours per week (flexible). - Compensation: $26.00 per hour.
Benefits are not included with internship positions. We are committed to working with candidates to ensure scheduling flexibility around academic commitments, breaks and holidays. Time off during these periods is unpaid.
