Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Brenham, TX, with some flexibility for remote work. As the Director of Development, you will lead and implement the school’s fundraising and development initiatives, strategically managing the annual giving campaign, planned giving, and other philanthropic efforts. You will collaborate with school leadership to achieve financial goals, engage with donors, and develop long-term partnerships.

Responsibilities also include managing fundraising events, preparing budgets related to development activities, and reporting on fundraising outcomes to stakeholders.

Qualifications
  • Strong skills in Planned Giving and Annual Giving to execute impactful donor-focused strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience in Fundraising and Philanthropy, with the ability to build long-term donor relationships.
  • Proficiency in Budgeting to plan and manage financial aspects of development initiatives.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership abilities with a strategic mindset and collaborative approach.
  • Knowledge of nonprofit development best practices and familiarity with CRM or donor management systems is a plus.
