Miracle Flights Seeks Philanthropy Manager
At Miracle Flights, every act of generosity helps children and families overcome one of the greatest barriers to healthcare: distance. The Philanthropy Manager plays an essential role in creating meaningful donor experiences and strengthening long-term philanthropic support.
Reporting to the Director of Philanthropy, the Philanthropy Manager leads annual giving, donor stewardship, fundraising campaigns, and grants management. This role helps create an exceptional donor experience while supporting the systems and strategies that enable Miracle Flights to grow philanthropic revenue and serve more families.
This position is ideal for a highly organized and relationship-oriented professional who enjoys building donor loyalty and creating meaningful engagement.
Purpose of the PositionThe Philanthropy Manager is responsible for leading annual giving, monthly giving, donor stewardship, fundraising campaigns, grants management, and donor engagement strategies.
Location: Based at our Las Vegas headquarters, with flexibility for a hybrid or remote work model.This leader will:
- Lead strategy, execution, and performance of Miracle Flights’ annual giving and monthly giving programs.
- Manage an assigned portfolio of individual donors.
- Develop and manage multi-channel fundraising campaigns, appeals, and engagement.
- Lead grant prospecting, proposal development, and reporting.
- Own the overall donor journey strategy to increase donor retention, loyalty, and lifetime value.
- Coordinate donor communications, impact reports, and recognition activities.

Key ResponsibilitiesAnnual Giving, Monthly Giving & Fundraising Campaigns
- Lead strategy, execution, and performance of Miracle Flights’ annual giving and monthly giving programs.
- Manage an assigned portfolio of individual donors.
- Develop and manage multi-channel fundraising campaigns, appeals, and engagement.
- Create donor segmentation, engagement, and solicitation plans that increase donor participation, retention, and lifetime value.
- Coordinate donor meetings, proposals, presentations, and follow-up activities.
- Lead all grant prospecting, proposal development, and reporting.
- Maintain a comprehensive grants pipeline and calendar to ensure timely submissions, reporting, and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with all grant requirements and funding restrictions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with funders.
- Donor Stewardship & Engagement
- Own the overall donor journey strategy, ensuring a cohesive and meaningful donor experience across all levels of giving.
- Design and execute a robust stewardship plan to increase donor retention, loyalty, and philanthropic investments.
- Coordinate donor communications, impact reports, and recognition activities.
- Collaborate with the Philanthropy team to create meaningful donor experiences.
- Partner with the Director of Philanthropy and Chief of Philanthropy to identify donors ready for major gift portfolio assignment.
- Maintain accurate donor records, activity tracking, and pipeline management within CRM systems.
- Track donor movement, proposals, pledges, grants, sponsor ships, and stewardship actions to ensure accountability and follow-through.
- Partner with the Philanthropy Associate to maintain CRM accuracy and data integrity.
- Provide day-to-day guidance and support to the Philanthropy Associate.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Programs, Finance, and Executive Leadership to support fundraising goals.
- Attend and assist with Miracle Flights events, donor experiences, campaigns, and community activations.
- Foster a culture of philanthropy throughout the organization.
- Support strategic initiatives established by the Director of Philanthropy and Chief of Philanthropy.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
- 3–5+ years of philanthropy experience; transferable experience may be considered.
- Proven success managing annual giving programs, fundraising campaigns, and donor stewardship initiatives.
