Internship - Global Sustainability

We are looking fortwo Sustainability Internsto join our Global Sustainability team for6 months, supporting key priorities within either:

• Sustainability Enablement & Social Impact, or
• Water & Circularity

You will join HEINEKEN’s Global Sustainability team, contributing to Brew a Better World-our long-term approach to doing business the right way to ensure we're fit for the future and to support growth and productivity.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a wide range of sustainability topics, while contributing to meaningful global initiatives. Responsibilities may include:

• Support the coordination of our Social Impact goals and initiatives across
  60+countries
• Contribute to stakeholder engagement activities for our Brew a Better World sustainability strategy
• Assist in creating and updating sustainability strategy assets and materials
• Support the deployment of sustainability capability content

• Support the development of digital maps connecting our global water initiatives
• Support on internal capability building for the global circularity strategy and packaging regulation
• Contribute to insights and storytelling around water stewardship and circularity programs

We’re looking for motivated and curious individuals with a passion for sustainability who can bring some of the following:

• Bachelors or Master level education (e.g. Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Business, or related fields)
• A strong interest in sustainability, impact, and corporate responsibility
• Ability to work in a structured way and manage multiple tasks
• Flexibility to work with a range of interdisciplinary topics and cross-functionally
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel; digital tools/visualization tools are a plus)
• A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn
• Team spirit and willingness to collaborate in an international environment

• You are enrolled at an educational institution for the entire duration of your internship and can provide proof of enrollment for the current academic year during your onboarding.
• In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution.
• In case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU.
• You reside in the Netherlands for the entire duration of your internship. Please note that HEINEKEN does not provide housing.
• You are in possession of a valid citizen service number (BSN).

During your time as an intern at HEINEKEN, you’ll work in a dynamic environment where growing and learning are at the heart of everything we do. Together, we brew your future step by step. In addition, we offer you:

• A full-time internship, starting on September 1, 2026
• The duration of the internship is 5 or 6 months (to be agreed upon with your internship supervisor)
• Your home office will be located in Amsterdam
• At HEINEKEN, we work with a hybrid model, typically spending three days a week at the office and two days working from home
• You will receive a monthly internship allowance of €650 gross based on a 40‑hour workweek
• You will earn 2 vacation days per month (based on a full-time internship)
• If you do not have a public transport student subscription, your commuting costs will be fully reimbursed
