Become a Philanthropy Coordinator with CODE, working remotely and offering hybrid options in Ottawa. This position is pivotal in enhancing the support required for literacy programs in Africa through strategic fundraising efforts.
As a full-time member of the Development team, you will report to the Chief Development Officer. This role requires a focus on developing donor relations, managing proposals, and executing various fundraising activities. Your communication skills and detailed-oriented mindset will help you collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams as you coordinate these vital initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support development of fundraising proposals and reports
• Build and nurture positive donor relationships
• Manage timelines for multiple fundraising projects
• Prepare materials and presentations for donor meetings
• Collaborate with Programs and Finance teams effectively
Requirements:
• Minimum three years of fundraising or philanthropy experience
• Strong skills in cultivating and stewarding philanthropy gifts
• Experience with donor databases and CRM systems
• Excellent organizational and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to work independently with accuracy
